PAGANUS came into being in early 2000 in a small town in Finland called Hamina. From the start it was obvious that they wanted their music to be played with slow tempo, heavy riffs and wicked vocals, in other words, it was (and still is) all about EXTREME DOOM!

There have been some line up changes through the years, but now there are 5 current members in the line up, each member bringing his own style to create the unique raw sound of Paganus.

In autumn 2006, Paganus entered the studio to record their full-length debut album, which features 4 tracks of vicious extreme Doom metal clocking at almost 50 minutes!

In March 2007, the band was picked by Jerusalem based record label Totalrust Music to release this slab of DOOM and the rest is history...
